Recent revelations that a Starbucks in Belfast was giving shelter to ‘rats’ and subsequently fined for admitting so [more here], aren’t really revelations at all. In actual fact, they’ve been sheltering ‘rats’ for years – read on to find out why you should BOYCOTT STARBUCKS.
Hygiene issues aside – Starbucks former CEO Howard Shultz is an active zionist. In 1998 he was honoured by the Jerusalem Fund of Aish HaTorah with “The Israel 50th Anniversary Friend of Zion Tribute Award” for his services to the zionist state in “playing a key role in promoting close alliance between the United States and Israel”. The Jerusalem Fund of Aish HaTorah funds israeli arms fairs chaired by the butcher of Jenin – General Shaul Mofaz, and zionist propaganda websites.
Howard’s work as a propagandist for Israel has been praised by the Israeli Foreign Ministry as being key to Israel’s long-term PR success.
Whilst the Israeli army was slaughtering Palestinians in Jenin, Nablus and Bethlehem he made a provocative speech blaming the Palestinians for terrorism, suggesting the intifada was a manifestation of anti-Semitism, and asked people to unite behind Israel.
It has been revealed that Starbucks still continues to support zionism by sponsoring fund raisers.
Whilst we can’t say for sure that the ‘rat’ found in a Belfast Starbucks is, or ever was, a member of the Israeli Defence Forces or a supporter of Zionism, it’s existence displays a bitter irony in that Starbucks CEO and the organisation in general have been sheltering RATS for years.
